Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP)

At Telford Group,
We deliver fully integrated turnkey solutions

Mechanical, Electrical And Plumbing (MEP) Solutions

Launched in 2015 as a specialist in CCTV and surveillance, our M&E capability has since evolved into a full-spectrum MEP solutions provider. Today we deliver integrated mechanical, electrical, plumbing and ELV systems that power, protect and optimise mission-critical assets across our portfolio—industrial plants, robotics-ready warehouses, commercial and educational facilities, healthcare environments, and bespoke residences.
We design, engineer, install, and commission systems that are safe, efficient, resilient, and easy to operate, aligning architecture, structural works and in-compound infrastructure with building services from day one. Our teams work to clear performance targets (availability, energy intensity, maintainability), with rigorous testing and commissioning to verify outcomes before handover.

What We Deliver

Power Systems (MV/LV):

Incoming utility interfaces, substations, MV switchgear, transformers, LV main switchboards, power factor correction, standby generators, UPS, automatic transfer schemes, earthing and bonding, and lightning protection—engineered for capacity, selectivity and maintainability.

HVAC & Environmental Control:

Chilled-water and DX systems, cooling towers, AHUs/FCUs, VSD optimisation, close-control cooling for white spaces, cleanroom and controlled-environment HVAC, pressurisation and smoke management to support life-safety strategies.

ELV & Intelligent Systems:

CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, PA/BGM, intercom, structured cabling and Wi-Fi, IBMS/BMS/SCADA integration, meters and sensors for real-time monitoring, and energy dashboards for performance tracking.

Process & Industrial Ventilation:

LEV systems, fume extraction, dust collection and filtration, make-up air and dilution ventilation designed around process hazards and compliance requirements.

Lighting & Controls:

High-efficiency LED solutions with controls (daylight / occupancy), task and specialty lighting, façade and site lighting coordinated with internal roads and utilities.

Life-Safety Systems:

Fire detection and alarm integration, suppression interfaces (where applicable), emergency voice communication, emergency/egress lighting and central battery systems.

Plumbing & Public Health (MEP):

Potable and processed water, hot water systems, sanitary and vent, grease management where required, pumped drainage and rainwater harvesting within the compound.

Commissioning & Compliance:

FAT/iFAT/SAT, integrated systems testing (IST), O&M documentation, training and asset registers. Authority liaison and approvals with ST/TNB/JBPM (Bomba), energy agencies and local councils, aligned to national codes and relevant international standards.

Sector-specific strengths

Module Data centres, Data Hall Ready/CRAC – Electrical chains with N+1/N+N resilience, concurrently maintainable distribution, white-space cooling (row/room/containment), leak detection, early warning fire detection, and DCIM/BMS integration for visibility and uptime. (Reference: Flow2Edge, Dyson)

Industrial plants & E&E manufacturing – Robust MV/LV distribution, transformers and busducts, process utilities (compressed air, chilled water, cooling water), hazardous-area compliant systems where applicable, LEV and heat-recovery solutions to stabilise product quality and reduce energy intensity.

Robotics-ready warehouses – High-flatness floor power distribution, MHE charging and safety systems, ELV backbones for AMR/AGV navigation, ESFR coordination, and scalable data/telecoms to support future automation.

Healthcare – Redundant power for critical loads, isolated power systems where required, medical-grade HVAC with pressure regimes for theatres/ICUs, infection-control strategies, nurse call and ELV integration, and rigorous T&C for certification readiness. (References: Gleneagles Hospital Medini Johor; Pusat Pakar Bersalin Tebrau; Dental Concept; IHH facilities portfolio.)

Commercial & education – Smart offices and campuses with flexible distribution, BMS-driven comfort control, audiovisual and collaboration systems, and efficient lighting that supports wellness and space utilisation. High-end residential – Discreet, reliable services: silent HVAC, curated lighting scenes, whole-home networking and security, and surge/LP protection packaged for longevity and ease of maintenance.

How We Execute

From concept through detailed design and shop drawings to installation and handover, we coordinate MEP with civil/structural works and in-compound infrastructure (internal roads, drainage, utilities corridors and tie-ins). Our methodology integrates constructability reviews, clash detection, method statements and ITPs, and progressive commissioning to de-risk late surprises. Energy, safety and maintainability are baked in via BMS analytics, metering, and predictive-maintenance roadmaps, aligned with ISO 9001 quality controls and clear authority pathways.

The Result

One integrated MEP partner accountable for power, climate, controls and life safety—delivering buildings and plants that are safer, more efficient, and operationally resilient from day one, with the flexibility to scale as your requirements evolve.
