The scope of works includes architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical modifications to improve the functionality, safety, and overall environment of the ICU in compliance with current healthcare standards and hospital requirements.
The renovation works encompass demolition of existing partitions and finishes, construction of new walls and ceilings, installation of new medical equipment supports, upgrading of HVAC and electrical systems, and enhancement of fire safety and infection control features. All works are to be carried out with strict adherence to hospital infection control protocols and minimal disruption to ongoing hospital operations.
Upon completion, the renovated Level 2 ICU will provide upgraded patient care areas, improved staff workstations, and enhanced mechanical and electrical infrastructure to support critical care operations efficiently and safely.
